Region 14 School Bus Routes

The 2016-17 school bus routes for the Region 14 Schools are listed under the school that your student will be attending. You can find bus routes here.

Residents are asked to share issues or concerns with their child’s bus stop location by calling All-Star Transportation’s Woodbury office at 203-266-7352. It is not necessary to contact the bus company if your child will not be riding on a specific day.

Parents should check the school calendar for information about early dismissal days (for example: conferences and early release days). You can find a school calendar here.

For kindergarten students who will be riding their first bus, there’s an orientation video available.

NOTE: Bus schedules are subject to revisions that result from enrollment changes, transfers and address changes. Changes and / or additions will be posted to the school district’s website and residents are encouraged to frequently check the Region 14 website.

The time for each bus route is the approximate time the bus will make its first pickup in the morning. Adjustments will be made as necessary and as soon as possible. Students should be at their stops 5-10 minutes before the time listed on the bus route. The stop times can vary 5-10 minutes either way, depending on traffic, weather and the number of students riding the bus.

Please do not worry if a bus is late, especially at the start of a school year when it typically takes a few days for kindergarten children and new students to become accustomed to the bus routes and schedules. If, however, you have concerns about your bus being consistently late over a period of several days, please contact the Woodbury office at 203-266-7352.

It is important that students remember to stand at least 10 feet from the road and not move toward the bus until the bus driver nods his or her head signaling that it is safe to board the bus.

Bus Drop-Off Procedure / Waiver Form

If you need to change the permanent location where your student is picked up or dropped off, you must contact All-Star Transportation’s Woodbury office at 203-266-7352.

All children in Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade must be met by an adult or older sibling (middle school or above) at the bus stop in the afternoons. Parents must provide written permission if they wish to:

1. Have their child dropped off without an adult or older sibling present.

2. Have their child walk home with an older sibling riding the same bus (3rd, 4th or 5th grade).

Bus Stop Change Request

In the event that your child needs to ride a bus that is not his or her scheduled bus, the school office must be contacted. The school will provide a bus pass for your child to hand to the bus driver upon boarding.

If you have any questions, contact All-Star Transportation’s Woodbury office at 203-266-7352.

Henry Abbott, Kaynor and Oliver Wolcott Bus Information

In the morning, students will be picked up at their homes by All-Star Transportation and brought to school.

In the afternoon, students will be picked up at Henry Abbott Tech and brought to their designated stop. A student cannot be dropped off at a different location if parents have not made appropriate arrangements.

If Region 14 has a two-hour delay due to inclement weather, transportation for the tech schools will also operate on a two-hour delayed schedule, even if the tech school opens on time.

School Bus Rules and Regulations

2. No eating or drinking.
3. Keep hands, feet and backpacks out of the isle while the bus is moving.
4. Use inside voices at all times.
5. Silence all electronic devices.
6. Earbuds / headphones are acceptable.
7. No photos, backlights or flashlights.
8. All students must stand 10 feet from the road while waiting for the bus.
9. Students must wait for the doors to open before walking towards the bus.
10. In the afternoons, students must wait for the driver’s “safe to cross” nod, regardless of age.
